Task 5

Advert 1 (Needs to be completed)

This advert is advertising a famous fragrance for both male and female.I chose this advert because i like the way its presented and the editing skills that they used. They also produced it in a way that it is persuading and appealing to the main target audience which is females. This advert is a rich luxurious advert which is the reason why it is appealing because it will make females want to purchase it for this particular reason.

Age:
The age group for this fragrance is between 16 - 34. I predicted this age group because this advert seems to appeal to females within this age group also, the female thats casting in the advert seems to be between this age group which , makes it sort of obvious to attract a certain age group.

Gender:
The target audience for this advert of gender is females. The company has also made a fragrance for males with which is just slightly similar to the females advert. This advert has made it obvious to be attracted to girls as the advert includes things that females enjoy such as shoes, jewellery, men, diamonds, fame and love.

Demographic:
Demographically I would say that this advert is more aimed at the wealth society to people who are in good working jobs such as: lawyers, doctors, teachers etc. I chose this group of society because people who are below these groups who are semi and unskilled workers might not be able to purchase this fragrance and might not take interest as it involves a lot of wealth and they also have different things to purchase such as paying bills.

Advert 2

This advert is alcohol advert called Malibu. The reason why I chose this advert is because its entraining and has a catch to it. It attracts both males and females and it appealing to those who are legal to drink and buy alcohol. The location of this avert is set in the Caribbean.

Age:
The age group for this advertisement is 18+. The reason why I say this age group is because it is an alcohol drink advert which can not be aimed at people under age of 18 as they are not allowed to drink alcohol.

Gender:
The target audience for this advertisement is directed to both male and females. The reason being is because it is a drink for no particular gender. Also, the advert includes males dancing and also females dancing as if they are having fun which represents the effect of the product.

Demographic:
Demographically, I would say that this advert is made to attract young fun people who enjoy partying on a regular basis. For example: students, teenagers (over the age 18).
