Me And Artiola's First Cut Out Animation

This is my first cut out animation that i made during lesson with artiola. cut out animation is a different animation technique. it is used in cartoons such as south park and blues clues. The first step of making my animation was was looking through magazines and cutting out images to create a story. ones i found my images i got them together then used my tripod and webcam to take snapshots. the software that i used to make the animation is called: istop motion. I then exported my animation and uploaded it onto my Blog/Youtube account.

The best part of making this animation is finding the images, because it makes you become creative and imaginative. If I was to make this animation again using the same technique I think I would change it for the fact of making it more interesting so that it appeals to the audience more and I would also intend to add some sound or music or even sound effects to make it more interesting. The strengths of my animation was the technique that I used and also how I used it. Also using the software went really well as it is easy and straight forward to use. The weaknesses of my animation was cutting out certain images as the photos that I have chosen were hard to cut out and also hard to place down in the position that I wanted them to. Also loading the animation onto my blog and even youtube was a bit of a struggle as there was some errors to uploading them but then I finally got to upload it. I would also change my background as it seems to dull and dark so i would maybe brighten the contrast. If I was to make an animation again I would definitely use this technique again because its simple and easy to use, I would 100% recommend this technique and software.
